
In the Peterbilt line Daycab offers 8 different sleeper removal
conversion options. Some traditional conversion parts are aluminum.
Daycab Co. has never, and will never, use sheet metal. The XL
is a fiberglass composite. The XL Unit has a gray sand-able gelcoat
with a class A finish. Our engineers use only Peterbilt cab
structural standards. Safety is always #1 here at Daycab Co.
Ways to tell if you have a Unibilt or a Unibilt-Ultracab:
Take note of roof height above door. See photos below. Unibilts have a 50" top to bottom (inside) opening. Unibilt-Ultracabs have a 60" top to bottom (inside) opening. Also check the badge on the side of the sleeper.
