The Peterbilt Ultracab was introduced in 1997 and is still offered today. It is commonly referred to as the high roof cab. On the side of the sleeper you will find an oval logo with the “Unibilt Ultracab” emblem. The sleeper opening size is roughly 63 ½” high and 61 ½” wide. Most OEM vinyl and cloth is available. Options include a Aluminum flat panel or Fiberglass extended panel. Some kits are available without a window.
The Peterbilt Unibilt cab was introduced in 1994 and is still offered today. It is commonly referred to as a low roof cab. On the side of the sleeper you will find a oval logo with the “Unibilt” emblem. The sleeper opening size is roughly 52 ¾” high and 62 ½” wide. Most OEM vinyl and cloth is available. Options include a Aluminum flat panel or Fiberglass extended panel. Some kits are available without a window.
The Next Generation Peterbilt "NGP" line was introduced in 2012 with the 579 and 567 model trucks and later the 589. These cabs have either a High Roof or Low Roof sleeper opening. Kits will not work for a 579 UltraLoft
The Peterbilt Standard cab was introduced from 1967 to 1993. It covered the 359 and 379 models or the A model. The sleeper opening is roughly 50” high and 37” wide. These were the early trucks with an easy removable sleeper and a small walk through opening. The standard aluminum kit interior is a black thermoformed utility back wall with storage area. Options include a Aluminum flat panel or Fiberglass extended panel. Some kits are available without a window. You can also buy a complete interior with your kit and change the color of your cab completely.
